Dayspring is led by three “lead pastors”, as well as a pastoral and ministry staff that carry out roles according to their gifts and abilities.

Since the primary role of the pastor is to “equip the saints for the work of the ministry” (Eph 4:11-12) we want to ensure that authority, collaboration, and accountability are shared.

This approach discourages:

• receiving unhealthy levels of responsibility, authority, and attention

• operating like a “CEO” or “celebrity” instead of a shepherd and servant

• church members from placing unrealistic expectations on one pastor

This approach encourages:

• shared responsibility in shepherding, teaching, and administration

• transparency and accountability from pastors and ministry leaders

• ministry staff using their gifts in ways that best serve the body
